Papua New Guinea Coffee - Medium Roast

Coffee production in Papua New Guinea (PNG) originally derived from Jamaica’s renown Blue Mountain Coffee seeds so it is no surprise that our PNG Palinga shares similar flavor profiles (without the extravagant price tag!) We’ve brought this premium bean to a City+ or a Medium/Light Roast Level to allow the exotic fruit notes and honeysuckle aromas to linger, yet dark enough to bring out a fine buttery spice finish. If you are looking for an adventure, but don’t want to leave the comfort of your home, look no further.

Select your favorite and set it and forget it, or mix and match from month to month- you are in total control!

It would be our pleasure to grind your beans to a drip brew grind setting (about a medium grind and consistency is about that of regular sand). However, We strongly recommend you purchase a grinder to grind just the necessary amount of beans that you will need for preparing your coffee. You will experience a remarkable difference in taste, aroma, and flavor once you start grinding your own beans!

You do not need anything fancy if you are just getting started in experiencing better and more flavorful coffee. But, you should buy whole beans since ground coffee can stale within a few days from opening the package. As a matter of fact, a $10 spice grinder (thoroughly clean or buy a new one- you do not want coriander in your single origin!) will do in a pinch if you shake it up and down as the blades are spinning (you want the consistency to be about that of regular sand).  Once you experience the flavor benefits of grinding your own coffee, you may want to invest in an inexpensive flat burr grinder, or even splurge a bit more for a conical burr grinder. We promise grinding your own coffee will elevate your coffee drinking pleasure to new heights of freshness and flavor.
