As Spring taunts us with its sunny days and chirping birds, we realize that it is time to introduce our three new and very distinct coffees; The Ethiopian Limu, Democratic Republic of Congo, and our strictly high mountain grown, Papua New Guinea, whose origin and pedigree is from Jamaican Blue Mountain.
The Ethiopian Limu (Limmu) roast with an organic dry process is sure to spring a few exciting flavors onto your taste buds! With a light body, bright herbal notes, and finishing with a lemony expression, this roast is definitely a treat for those weekday mornings when you need a boost.
The unique aspect of the Ethiopian Limu happens through it organic dry process, happening somewhere between 1,500 to 1,900 meters above sea-level. Some subtle, yet complex flavors such as honey are manifest through this light ro
sting process.
The actual bean itself is green, rounded, and medium-sized. If you’re hoping for a light roasted, sweet, flavorful blend, then look no further than the Ethiopian Limu. You won’t be disappointed.
From a recovering coffee economy comes a delicious Democratic Republic of Congo coffee roast. With a growing altitude of 1,400 to 2,000 meters above sea-level, this special coffee is of the bourbon arabica variety.
Its milling process is washed and sun-dried, with a sweet, chocolately aroma and full body. The flavors that you can expect include; notes of berries, raisins, plums, and is very citrusy. A bright, citric acidity allows you to drink the Democratic Republic of Congo coffee with confidence on those beautiful Sunday mornings on the veranda.
And finally, our Papua New Guinea roast promises a distinctly apple, bright flavor explosion. We are especially pleased with this delicious new addition, as these beans originate from the highly sought after, and much more expensive, Jamaican Blue Mountain.
Produced from old varieties like Bourbon-types, this medium-bodied coffee demands to be enjoyed with friends and good conversation! Our PNG roast is brighter, more delicate, and more refined than most washed Javas.
Cultivated at 1,300 to 1,900 meters above sea-level, this roast is wet-milled processed. Itching for a flavor complexity of dried mango, orange candy, and dark chocolate? Need a pairing for that fruity dark chocolate or savory, yet bitter feta quiche in the morning? Our Papua New Guinea roast will satisfy your deepest coffee cravings and enlighten your palate!
